The Infant Development Lab is part of the Psychology Department at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Closed for BYU Devotional, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m until 12 noon.

Our main interest is in the perceptual and cognitive development of infants. Since we are interested in perceptual and cognitive development, all of our research involves showing video recordings of different stimuli to the infants involved on television screens, with or without sounds to accompany the video.

Most of the students working in the lab are majoring in Psychology or Neuroscience. We have also had Marriage Family and Human Development majors, Elementary Education majors, and Nutrition majors in our ranks. The Professor in charge of this research is Dr. Ross Flom. All of us offer a courtesy and respect to those who are willing to participate in our research.
